What do YOU do to relieve stress?

One of my clients asked me that today. Actually, I’m shocked by how many times I get this question. It’s no secret, really. In fact, I think it’s great that people think my stress is relieved!

Seriously though, I’d like to share that information with you now. It is my hope that you will find something that can work for you. Use what works in a “self-coaching” manner.

I like to go for a walk. I’m a jogger, so walking slows me down, and allows me to experience a different intensity. It’s very calming, yet revitalizes me.

Making Choices on Your Journey

My favorite places to run are parks. I love parks that have a variety of paths and bridges, and whenever possible, I love taking pictures of these paths and bridges.

Do you have a system?

Today I want to talk to you about having systems in place, and about the discipline it takes to carry out the plan to utilize those systems daily. Yes, I know.

Now I’m not sure what has sparked all of this (I’d love to say that it’s some of my tweets and posts!), but the concept of health, wellness and fitness is nothing new.

Hello?!

Admittedly, I’ve been somewhat frustrated recently by the response I’ve gotten from certain people who feel that because they can “keep up with … Continue Reading

Be in control of the outcome

When we train our minds to train our bodies to respond by choice, it puts us totally in control of the outcome. To say that we don’t know how (something) crept up on us, is a sure sign that we’ve chosen to close our eyes to what “all” of our decisions produce.

I was reading a blog recently about an entrepreneur whose decision making process has brought about the following results:

  • Overweight (I’m guessing obesity in terms of bodyfat percentage)
  • A trip to the doctor
  • High blood pressure
  • Blood … Continue Reading
